Voice Glyph is a revolutionary React web app that converts speech to text in real time. Installation

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/SudoKMaar/VoiceGlyph.git
  2. Navigate to the project directory:

    cd VoiceGlyph
  3. Install the dependencies:

    npm install

Usage

  1. Start the development server:

    npm start
  2. Open your web browser and visit http://localhost:3000 to access the Voice Glyph app.

How It Works

  1. Click the "Start Listening" button to begin speech recognition.
  2. Speak into your device's microphone, and your speech will be converted to text in real time.
  3. The transcribed text will be displayed in the main content area of the app.
  4. To copy the transcribed text to the clipboard, click the "Copy to clipboard" button.
  5. To export the transcribed text as a text file, click the "Export" button. The file will be downloaded as "transcript.txt".
  6. To clear the transcribed text and start afresh, click the "Clear" button.
  7. When finished, click the "Stop Listening" button to end speech recognition.
