There are 2 critical findings CVE-2022-37616 & CVE-2022-39353, is there any fix (or upcoming plan to fix it)?

Originally I was hesitant to introduce @xmldom/xmldom as a dependency because it was a new package, and it was unclear if it was trustworthy at the time. Instead I opted to embed xmldom directly as a dep, but the time has come to re-visit that I think.
