To provide better service for Chinese Student at University of Maryland, College Park, IT department of Chinese Students and Scholar Association (CSSA) is developing this WeChat Mini App.

This project started on October 1st, 2019.

Installing Miniapp

General Usage

  1. //todo

Development Purpose

  1. Download Wechat Dev Tool by clicking or copy and past link to browser:

  2. Ask the team leader for log-in permission and AppID, and let him/her add you as a member of UMD-CSSA organization on Github.

  3. Creat a new local project. Enter Project Name, AppID and select Backend Service as "Mini Program Cloud Base"

  4. (Optional) You can change your language preference at Settings -> General Setting -> General -> Language.

  5. click Source Control (版本管理) to connect to Github Repo.

  6. On the left side of the Source Control window, under Workspace, click Settings. Under Network and Auth, select "use user name and password" and enter your Github username and password

  7. Under Remote, Add a new remote. Copy and Past this URL:

  8. Then do a git checkout on dev branch. (The checkout button is located on the left side of Source Control, under Remote section)
