Welcome to the VisTrails wiki!

VisTrails is an open-source data analysis and visualization tool; see http://www.vistrails.org/

Our main location for development is this Github project, so you'll find the latest code here, along with our issue tracker.

Don't hesitate to report issues you might be having (here or on vistrails-users@vgc.poly.edu) or to contribute by opening a pull-request.

  • Weekly development meeting notes: http://vistrails.org/index.php/Development
  • Overview of the source tree
  • Our tests are conducted via BuildBot: http://vistrails.poly.edu:9050/ (also, Travis)
Tests are run on branches v2.0, v2.1, and master. The main machine runs tests 10 minutes after a commit. All other machines run nightly.
Binaries can be tested via the TestMacBinary and TestWinBinary builders. Add a "url" property with the url path to a dmg or exe installer. The windows tester takes about 30 minutes.
  • The users guide is built every night and uploaded via a nightly cron job to vistrails.org at 2am. That's why forcing the build will not make it immediately visible on the web.
