Web-based audio tag editor

• Edit audio tags using a webinterface
• Inspired by puddletag
• Driven by python and angular.js

Requirements:

• python2 (not tested with python3)
  • mutagen
  • flask
  • requests
  • python-magic
  • python-Levenshtein

Installation:

• Clone the repository:

  git clone https://github.com/andrenam/webtagpy.git

• Go to the cloned repository:

  cd webtagpy

• Install python requirements:

  pip install -r requirements.txt

• Install angularjs components using bower:

  bower install

• Edit webtagpy.cfg config file (optional). You can specify a log file. Make sure it's writeable for the user that runs webtagpy:

  [base]

  log_file = /var/log/webtagpy.log

Start:

• Test the app using the built-in webserver:

  ./api.py

• Browse to http://localhost:5010/

Deployment using wsgi:

There are many ways to deploy the app. Here's a sample configuration using uwsgi behind nginx as reverse-proxy:
