The wallpaper colors the shell.

Selecting the wallpaper is how you change to different themes.

A symlink exists at ~/.config/wallpaper which points to the last selected wallpaper.

Features

  • Ranger is configured to accept bg from the keyboard as a command to set the active file as the wallpaper
    • this invokes the setbg utility
  • feh is used to set the background, as it has added support for handling multiple monitors. pywal has a -n flag, which disables the default behavior of changing the background image (thus, only the color scheme gets updated).
