Community Call

The Ballerina team is now hosting monthly recorded community calls! These are interactive meetings that will explore Ballerina use cases.

Through these calls, we aim to open up our channels and give you direct access to our engineers. As a participant, you will get the chance to ask our team and other community members any questions you have about Ballerina or your projects. Take a look at this working doc for information on past and upcoming calls.

Contributing to the Community

Here are a few ways you can contribute to the Ballerina community:

• Write content for our community run Ballerina Techblog or any other publications
• Record and publish vlogs explaining specific features of Ballerina
• Speak at meetups, conferences, or other events
• Host a meetup or hackathon for your local community - we can help you get started
• Contribute to the language:
  • Report an issue in the relevant repo out of the GitHub repos listed below. We want to fix all bugs!
    • Compiler, runtime, standard library, or tooling: ballerina-lang repo
    • Language specification: ballerina-spec repo
    • Website: ballerina-dev-website repo
    • Security flaw: send an email to security@ballerina.io. For details, see the security policy.
  • Publish your Ballerina module on Ballerina Central so that the whole community can benefit from your work
  • Contribute to the source code to make Ballerina better! To be aware of the ground rules as you start, see the Contribution Guide. Happy contributing!
