Cazador — the ssh-tunnel

Cazador — is a simply ssh-tunnel for simplify connections.

Can be used for:

  1. experiments on localhost or local area network;
  2. simplify access to remote ssh.

Disclaimer:

WARNING!

This software provide ssh-tunneling and password storing, it can be potentially dangerous! It's not recommended for using in real systems.

Config

Config file — is a simply yml file with sections:

  • config — application parameters;
  • port — server listen port (default 22);
  • allow_empty_passwords — enable users without password;
  • host_keys — list of OpenSSH key-files;
  • users — dictionary with user_login: "password_hash" pairs;
  • connections — dictionary with ssh login credentials, each element contains next structures:
  • host — IP-address or hostname of destination ssh-server;
  • port — listen port of destination ssh-server (default 22);
  • username — user login;
  • password — user password;
  • commands — dictionary with names and shell-commands lists;
  • routes — dictionary contains structures which provide relationship between user and connection with command.

Startup

Required Python 3.7+

  1. pip install -r requirements;
  2. exports CONFIG_PATH="/path/to/your/config.yml";
  3. python app.py.

Or use docker

  1. docker build -t cazador .;
  2. docker run -d -p 22:22 -e CONFIG_PATH=/app/config.yml -v $(pwd)/config.yml:/app/config.yml:ro -v $(pwd)/ssh_host_key:/app/ssh_host_key:ro cazador;
