What is the status of this project? If it doesn't come back soon there needs to be a psa (See PR) #2644

Description
This pull request updates the read me to point to Cromite. This move isn't designed to be offensive but I think that a new PR changing the read me is the most likely way to get a response. I am not sure what has happened to development but people are still using this in a massively insecure state.
What should happen
The status of this project can be decided based on whether this PR gets merged. If it gets approved, the project devs have a easy way out as they can just let the Cromite devs take over. If it gets rejected it shows that the devs are still active and there may be hope for the continuation of this project.
