With this new version of the webapp of the Digital Edition of Fernando Pessoa, the following new features have been introduced:

  • separation of content and app: a new repository has been created for the edition corpus, which is now treated separately from the edition app. Only the code of the edition app remains in the current repository. The corpus repository can be accessed at: https://github.com/cceh/pessoa-corpus
  • versioning: the app is now versioned in more detail (with three levels of semantic versioning): [major version number (Mv)], [minor version number (mv)], [revision number (rv)].
  • Linked Open Data: data of the index of names, work titles, and periodicals is offered in two LOD formats (BEACON and RDF) and linked to various authority files (GND, VIAF, Wikidata)
  • new subpages have been created to document the new features: a subpage on the Versions and on LOD
  • software licenses have been added for the eXist app itself and other software components included in this repository
