Change in date format with a delimitator "-" instead of "/"

Could you explain a little bit more why you're proposing this change?

Is "/" not used as a delimiter in Spanish in Chile (it is the delimiter set for our main Spanish locale file), or is "-" more common?

Or are you proposing this change to correct the output of a specific CSL style?
