At least locally on my mac this test always hangs. I have an M3 Mac, I'm not sure if there are other developers with macs where this test works. I don't see any other discussion of this test on the issue tracker since this check was added in #3893.
I didn't try to debug why it's hanging, let me know if you'd like me to look into that.
