I know this is old, but I would really, really appreciate someone pulling this change in. However, before you do that, there is one change that needs to be made. In container.tmpl, you've left in line 15, which adds the word "Index" over and over and over, once per file. It would be really great if you could make sure that line doesn't get called when outputFileDeclarations is true. It's really ugly. Take a look:
