Could you please update v1 version.
It's actually a branche but I think it will be better to remove this branche and add a tag.
This tag will follow all v1.x.y released version.

I was thinking about merging this, tagging the release and doing a manual merge into v1 branch. This way the history of v1 releases will be kept.
