Aspen/SIS is a program for students which keeps track of their grades, transcript, requests, and other records. It is referred to as "SIS", because the students are most comfortable with that.
This is a plugin which adds new features to SIS:
- Adding classes to SIS
- Displaying an average and GPA, as well as totals for attendance
Clone or download the repository so that the files are uncompressed in a folder.
Go to chrome://extensions and turn on “Developer Mode” (upper right corner)
Click “Load Unpacked” and direct Chrome to the folder where you placed the downloaded files.
Note: That folder should contain manifest.json.
- Copy/move/rename manifest-firefox.json to manifest.json
- Go to about:debugging#addons
- Check "Enable Temporary Debugging
- Click "Load Temporary Addon"
- Select manifest.json
To add a class, click on the icon for SIS in the top right corner and click “Options”. You can add classes in the table.
Ideally, give each class a different 3-letter code.
