"File are too old" is definitely not a good summary of the error. Please consider update the upstream issue to describe what error you have met while packaging dunst project, and why the upstream should update config.guess file. You can take this issue as a great config.guess related bug report example: https://github.com/libunwind/libunwind/issues/654.

I have modified the script and reported back to the upstream.

Using "about file" as title is certainly not going to help any developer understand your request....

Hey, I'm from dunst. I don't see any config.guess file in our repo, so it seems the issue does not come from our side. Or is there something I don't understand?

I think the author of this PR might have reported the issue to the wrong place.

@fwsmit I looked into this quickly, and it seems like a potential new contributor of this porting project has failed to find the correct upstream repo to open that issue. I think the problem is not related to dunst, but the original notification-daemon. Sorry for the noise :/

I apologize; it appears I may have been mistaken. The issue is not on your end.

Okay, thanks for looking into it. I'll close the issue on Dunst's end
