GitDuck

GitDuck is an open source collaboration tool for developers. It allows developers to record their screen and link their code to the video timestamps and create interactive coding videos.

This extension will automatically link your code whenever you are recording a video with GitDuck.

📹 Record from our webapp Now you can screencast directly from our webapp. Much faster than any other screen recording software. Just go to https://gitduck.com/new-video to start recording. This extension will automatically link the code to the video.

🛠 Select the video name and privacy options before recording Select the title of the video, the team and who can view it before recording.

🏀 Teams Create private live coding sessions that only your team can watch. Collaborate online with your remote team and work as if you were in the same room.

Requirements

GitDuck works for:

  • MacOS 10.12 or greater.
  • Windows 7, 8 and 10.
  • Linux.

Installation

  1. Create a GitDuck account at https://gitduck.com
  2. Select your username.
  3. That's it! Record your first coding session by going to https://gitduck.com/new-video

How to watch or share

All you need to do is go to the URL generated or to your profile. Your coding sessions are going to be stored there. There you can also change the title, add a description or delete the video if you want.
