Anticheat-watermark

This is a program to compile unique watermarks for a desired pdf. This can help instructors to create individualized exams to prevent cheating.

Usage

Windows User

  • Step 1: Download anticheat-watermark_windows_amd64.exe file under the release tag. If you download the .exe file in Chrome, the exe. file may be marked as a virus. Please accept it to continoue the download.

  • Step 2: Prepare the watermark list (a text file, see picture for an example) you want to generate on the desired pdf.

  • Step 3: Drag the watermark list and the desired pdf onto the anticheat-watermark .exe file. (see picture for an example)

  • Step 4: A folder under the name of the desired pdf would be generated. All the compiled pdfs would be in that folder. (picures are two results of the same pdf with different watermarks from the watermark list)

Mac User

  • Step 1: Go to release page, and download anticheat-watermark_darwin_amd64

  • Step 2: Open Terminal.app

  • Step 3: type chmod +x [FILE]. [FILE] = The path to the file you just downloaded. Or, you can drag the file to the terminal. After importing the file to the terminal, press enter to continue.

  • Step 4: Go back to the finder => Right click (Default is ctrl + click on the touch pad) on the file => Open (Note: the file CANNOT open through directly clicking the file)

  • Step 5: click Open

  • Step 6: Drag the 2 files in to the terminal

  • Step 7: Press enter and wait the result
