Using Browser with local Vault on same PC
- Run local Vault
- Publish some data/files using the SAFE CLI or via the SAFE Browser itself
- Enter the XOR-URL or NRS-URL of the data you previously published in step 2 into the browser address bar
Using Browser with MaidSafe remote Vault
- Obtain a copy of the Vault connection config file: vault_connection_info.config
- Depending on your platform:
- If you are on Linux save this file to
~/.config/safe_vault/ - If you are on macOS save this file to
/Users/<USERNAME>/Library/Preferences/net.MaidSafe.safe_vault/ - If you are on Windows save this file to
C:\Users<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\MaidSafe\safe_vault\config\
- If you are on Linux save this file to
- Publish some data/files using the SAFE CLI or via the SAFE Browser itself.
- Enter the XOR-URL or NRS-URL of the data you previously published in step 3 into the browser address bar
