Docker and Docker-Compose Installation and Uninstallation Script

Installation

Prerequisites

Installation Process

  1. Clone the repo.

  2. then change directory to dockerWithComposeInstall

    cd ./dockerWithComposeInstall

  3. Make the script executable by running:

    chmod +x install.sh

  4. Execute the script with administrative privileges using sudo:

    sudo ./install.sh

  5. The script will guide you through the installation process, including the download and setup of Docker and Docker-Compose on your system.

  6. Once the installation is complete, you can verify it by running:

    docker -v

    docker-compose -v

Uninstallation

Uninstallation Process

If you ever need to uninstall Docker and Docker-Compose from your system, follow these steps:

  1. Make the script executable by running:

    chmod +x uninstall.sh

  2. Execute the script with administrative privileges using sudo:

    sudo ./uninstall.sh
