Current Behavior
Running plugins in isolation has been really unstable and is blocking other features from being released.
Expected Behavior
Commits related to running plugins in isolation are reverted. This is still something we want to do but it will have to be reapplied under a flag so it can be properly toggled and tested.
Meanwhile we'll be able to release other features.
