The kviewer
is a command-line tool built in Go to consume Kafka messages in a formatted and user-friendly manner.
To consume messages from a topic:
./bin/kviewer consume <my-topic> [number-of-messages-to-be-readed]
If the number of messages isn't specified, the kviewer will consume indefinitely until interrupted.
To configure the Kafka connection, create a config.yaml file in the project's root directory. The file should contain the following configuration:
kafka:
host: "your_kafka_host"
port: "your_kafka_port"
