Since Medusa has switched to run on Python 3.6 and higher. Two synology (spk) packages have been created, that should work fine. We recommend the usage of the package maintained by BenjV.
- Install the Python 3 package that can be found in the SynoCommunity repository (Which architecture?).
- Make sure to get the latest released package here. Check the readme.md on BenjV/SYNO-packages repository for more information on which version to use on DSM version 7 and older.
- Add the owner of the folder where you downloader puts its files, to the group "sc-download".
- Also if you use "move files" in the PostProcessing then the owner of the folder where you move to must be added to the "sc-download" group.
An alternative (unsupported) package could be: Synology NAS (alternative)
