PC keybindings for macos

For PC style external keyboards.

Fix Home/End

Download DefaultKeyBinding.Dict to ~/Library/KeyBindings/.

Install Karabiner

And then download karabiner.json to ~/.config/karabiner/assets/complex_modifications/ and import in Karabiner.

Fix modifier keys

So the lower left modifier keys [Ctrl][Win][Alt] map to [Command][Option][Control].

In System Preferences > Keyboard > Modifier Keys..., for the Karabiner keyboard, map:

• Control Key: Command
• Option Key: Control
• Command Key: Option
