Analysis-and-mining-on-yelp-dataset

This project was completed in the Introduction to big data course.
In this project the YELP dataset is cleaned, analyzed and visualized based on different parameters.
An SQL and a NoSQL model are built to store the cleaned data
The SQL model was used to perform various queries whereas the NoSQL model was used to perform mining on the dataset.
Phase 1, 2 and 3 contain the project process from the three project development phases.
Phase 1, 2 and 3 code is in their respective folders.
The presentation pdf contains the results and visualizations from the project.
