This updates the package.json to pull in the correct module when using the NodeJS 13 ESM modules feature

Also updates the Travis CI build to drop the old builds that were failing against master because of unexpected syntax

the nodejs ESM loader requires that it's MJS and expected
the package.json to have the `exports` key defined


          remove older node versions from tests

they were breaking anyway even on the normal build
