- `.env.local`

`NODE_ENV=development`

- `.env`
- `.env.development`
- `.env.development.local`
- `.env.local`

`NODE_ENV=test`

- `.env`
- `.env.test`
- `.env.test.local`

_(note: `.env.local` is not loaded when `NODE_ENV=test`)_
