Thanks for your contribution! 🎉 I too agree to track this here till Svelte v5 officially lands. TBH I haven't gone through v5 in detail yet, but I will. Will look through the code soon. Thanks so much for taking the time! |

I don't think there's a reason to merge this until Svelte 5 is officially released, I'd just like to put this PR up here so that we can track the progression.
Let me know your thoughts and if the changes up until now are acceptable!
