dash.js would like to participate in the Google Summer of Code https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/ . This pages contains project ideas for interested students. These ideas are by no means exlusive. If you have a better idea than these which you think is relevant, then go ahead and propose it.
Instructions for submitting your project proposal:
- Got to our github issues page at https://github.com/Dash-Industry-Forum/dash.js/issues
- Create a new issue. Begin the title with the key words "GSOC proposal:".
- We will tag that issue as a GSOC submission and go from there. The issue tracker will be our communication tool.
- Low Latency CMAF support, including fetch() integration
- Adaption Algorithm Improvement.
- IMSC1 caption integration
- Using Http2 server push to reduce live stream latency.
