Supported operating systems for application install

Supported

• OSX 10.6 through 10.9
• Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8
• Windows Home Server 2011 (WHS2011)
• iOS running on a jailbroken ATV2 or ATV3

If you want to login PlexConnect to plex.tv, python 2.7.9 is the minimum version.

Unsupported but known to work

• OSX Server
• Windows Server
• Linux (Ensure Python 2.x is installed, disable or change the ports of any web servers and make an necessary firewall edits. NB Ubuntu users may need to disable dnsmasq)
• Linux NAS devices (if you have Python 2.x (minimum v2.5) installed, edit the firewall (if present), and ensure any management web server is not on port 80 then it will likely work)
• UnRAID, ReadyNAS, Synology, QNAP
• Tomato / WRT routers
• Virtualised operating systems
