When is the release happening with the file-saver github changes ? The last release was 1.5 years ago. I will have to move to some other package if it's later than a month. Please help

I can't tell you precisely, although I hope it will be less than a month. Slightly depends on the discussion in #839, where we might introduce additional breaking changes.

I am also really looking forward to the release with the necessary fixes and improvements.
These issues are very critical for us #2820 #2829 and I can see that they have already been fixed in the master branch. As far as I understand, there is a big cumulative update planned here, and its release may be delayed due to discussions in #839 and possible breaking changes.
Will interim updates be released so that users can access the already submitted fixes for known issues? This release will help us a lot.
