AndrewGaspar - Working through sparse variables. Abandoned refactor of collapsing SparseVariable into CellVariable - had to touch too much code. Couldn't possibly debug it. Instead now just working within the existing structure.
Josh is still working on uploading performance metrics. Pushing changes to the wiki as performance metrics are run. Has pushed some scripts that upload the performance metrics.
Jonas is working on the RIOT proxy (advection example with some minor changes). Simulating a root solve. Timeboxed to a week after the break - think it should be simple.
Carola re-running first part of the weak scaling study from 1..32 GPUs. Making plots now - wants to share by end of week. From galen: roofline on cascade lake might be interesting.
Joshua Dolence - Nothing major. Just been making minor fixes.
Jonah - Added capability for variable privacy. Spent some time engaging with Philipp on pack-in-one stuff.
Ben - still trying to get swarm variable communication in.
Philipp finished prototyping comparative performance data and extended wiki page with this information. Working with Josh Brown on this - trying to get it done sooner than later. Pack-in-one improves performance by 50x. Pack caching is broken right now - works correctly without cache.
Forrest finished up with annual review projects. Spending a little time over the break to look at pull requests.
