Summary:

The EFI system partition is mounted read only, or due to a filesystem error appears read only.

Solution:

This is not an expected failure since the UEFI plugin will reject read only EFI system partitions. Please re-open the issue at https://github.com/hughsie/fwupd/issues/597 to further investigate this failure.
